North Carolina Greene County Pursuant to an order directing the Sheriff of our county of Greene to summons twelve freeholders to alot and set off unto Carley widdow of Newman Dunn dec'd one third part of the lands belonging unto the said Newman Dunn dec'd we the under signed being summonned did this 3rd July 1823 met on the premises and layoff and allot unto the said widdow a certain part of the said lands. R'd Powell Senr, Thomas Hooker, Hardee Wall, Nathan'l Lasitter, Eli Jones, Jesse Jones, Aquila Sugg, Asher Greer, William Aldredge, Josiah Whitley, Shiers Denney and Charles Edwards.
