J.P. Dunn Land Sale, 1836

For Sale

A tract of land containing nineteen hundred acres lying in Lenoir county between the waters of Neuse river and great Contentea creek ten miles north of Kinston and four miles south of Hookerton. This tract of land can, if desired by purchasers, be divided into two or three settlements, without prejudice to the value of either. It is likewise conveniently situated in one tract without division.

There are 30,000 good turpentine boxes now on it, one third first year's, the balance tended two years. Twenty thousand more might with convenience be cut on it and the subscriber confidently believes that no farm in the same section of country in which it lies, is better adapted to the culture of cotton, corn, wheat, &c. The improvements are good and convenient. Those who wish to purchase are invited to call on the subscriber at his residence, or in his absence, on Mr. Walter Dunn, near Kinston, and examine for themselves. Terms will be accommodating.
