J. A. & Sarah Fields to Mary A. Potts in consideration of the natural love and affection which they have towards their daughter for the sum of one dollar, subject to the life estate of the parties of the first part, all the personal property now owned by and in possession of the said parties of the first part, and two certain parcels of land.

First tract containing 25 acres beginning at a stake on the New Bern road (Genoa Rd today), corner of Lot No. 2 in the division of the lands of Newman Potts dec’d, purchased from Wm Potts 10 Jan 1890.

Second tract containing 55 1/2 acres beginning at a stake on the New Bern road corner of Lot No. 4 in Newman Potts dec’d land division being land purchased from Wm Lewis 7 Dec 1893 excepting from this tract 27 acres conveyed by said J.A. Fields and wife to Jos. Tillman by deed 18 Nov 1894.
