Lola Belle Potts (1897-1942)

Lola Belle Potts was the daughter of William and Willie Potts and married Dewey Potts on September 27, 1917. Dewey was the son of Urban Potts, brother of William Potts. Dewey enlisted in the Army on 1 May 1917 and discharged 7 Aug 1919.

Urban Potts was in the turpentine business and is found in the census in Georgia and Florida. Eventually he moved back to North Carolina and settled his family in Duplin County.
