Adjoining the lands of John F. Fields, Margaret Smith - Being the undivided interest of Lucius Potts in Lot No. 7 of the division of the lands of Newman Potts dec’d as recorded in No. 54 page 42 of the Register’s office of Wayne County: to which record reference is here made for further particulars: the said Lucius Potts being one of the heirs of Julia E. Potts to whom said lot No. 7 was assigned in said division also the entire interest of said Lucius Potts in the estate of said Julia E. Potts dec’d both real and personal is hereby intended to be conveyed to said John F. Fields.

Adjoining the land of John F. Fields, Margaret Smith. Being the interest of said Hannah Stafford in the share (No. 7) of Julia E. Potts dec’d who was heir at law of Newman Potts dec’d and to whom was allotted the 58 acres of said land as will more fully appear by reference to the division of said Newman Potts recorded in No. 54 page 43 of the Register’s office of Wayne County the object and interest of this deed being to convey all the right title and interest of herself & her heirs in said share No. 7 of said Julia E. Potts to said John F. Fields, his heirs & assigns.

Adjoining the lands of Joel Fields, Cynthia A. Fields – being lot Nos 2, 3 & 5 in the division of the lands of Julia E. Potts dec’d recorded in Book 63 page 187 and fully described by metes and bounds in said division to which record reference is here made for description. Each of said lots contains four acres and is named as follows: No. 2 drawn in said division by John F. Fields bought of Hannah Stafford. Lot No. 3 drawn by Cynthia fields and Lot No. 5 bought by said John F. Fields from Potts.

Beginning at a stake in the path in Josiah Fields line and runs along the fence and path S 16 E 150 poles to a stake in said path and John Carraways line, then with his line S 71 W 66 poles to the head of Yellow Marsh, then down & with the run of said Marsh to a black gum at a path, then N 20 W 146 poles to a stake in John West’s line, then N 58 E 141 poles to a dead pine, then S 81 ½ E 41 poles to Josiah Fields corner in a path, then with said path being Josiah Fields line to the beginning containing 183 ¼ acres more or less, it being the same land this day conveyed to the parties of the first part by said John F. Fields and wife.

Smith - Beginning at a stake, corner of lot No. 5 in the division of the lands of Newman Potts deceased and runs thence with the line of said lot S 65 W 66.50 chains to a stake, another corner of said lot No. 5 then S 9 degrees 20’ E 8.75 chains to a stake, corner of lot No. 7 in said division, then with the line of said lot No. 7, N 65 degrees 45’ E 64 chains to a stake another corner of said lot No. 7 then N 3 degrees 45’ E 10.25 chains to the beginning containing fifty seven (57) acres more or less, being lot No. 6 in said division.
