"Above records copied 1969 by William C. Fields, III. There are more records in the Bible but of later date.

William B. Fields, born 4 July 1813, son of Jeremiah and Mary, was my great-grandfather. He died 11 May 1878. In the Bible of his son, William Coffield Fields, Sr., his middle name is spelled "Brickle" whereas in the above records it is spelled " Britle". I do not know which is correct.

Jeremiah C. Fields, born 24 May 1851, son of Henry, was J(eremiah) M. Fields with wife Emma (Emmer) whose children are listed above. I do not know whether the middle initial "C" was my mistake in copying or whether he later changed it himself.

Florence Fields, wife of Noah H. Fields, was probably Florence Hinson, daughter of Joshua Hinson."e, Thomas Lee, Samuel Hardy, Stephen Carney, Parrott Mewborn
