August 14, 1812 - John Casey sold his and three of his sister's shares of the land received after their father's death. This deed names the father, two of his sons and the husbands of three daughters. It is signficant in that it can help prove the relationship of five of Micajah Casey's children to their father. Deed of Gift made 7 Jan 1831 between John Casey Senr. and Lee Casey both of Duplin in consideration of the love and affection I have for my son Lee Casey land in Wayne on the southside of Brooks Swamp adjacent to Henry Revills corner containing 117 acres. November 2, 1837 - Mortgage - I John Casey having a desire to make my brother Richard safe by paying and returning the money. John Casey is to have the use of said land free of rent from year to year until he shall make said Richard safe or until the expiration of this obligation by a final settlement.
