Indenture made 10 Nov 1778 between Robert Allen and Micajah Casey both of Dobbs County, for 100 pounds land in Johnston County adjacent to the Great Branch of Mill Creek, Arthur Davis's line containing 100 acres. Indenture made 12 Jan 1782 between Jonathan Taylor and Joseph Everitt both of Wayne, for 50 pounds land in Wayne on the South side Neus river being part of a certain tract or parcell of Land pattented by the said Everitt bearing date 30th Janr'y 1773 and is bounded as follows (to wit) Begining at a marked pine tree the second corner of Micajah Casey's land the corner Tree of his own Land thence up the folly line to the Ready Branch thence up the meanders of the Ready Branch containing 35 acres. To all to whom these Presents shall come, Greeting.
KNOW YE, That We, for and in Consideration of the Sum of Fifty Shillings for every Hundred Acres hereby granted, paid into our Treasury by Micajah Casey a Tract of Land, containing one hundred and Fifty Acres, lying and being in our County of Johnston Beginning at a white Oak McCondickus Corner and Runs along his Line South forty three Degree West one hundred and Eighty Poles to a pine his and Langstons Corner then along Langston line South forty five poles to apine in his line thence East two hundred and twenty three Poles to astake thence North one hundred and Eighty Poles to astake and thence Straight to the Beginning WITNESS Alex Martin Esquire, our Governor, Captain-General, and Commander in Chief, at Farefield, the twenty first Day of October in the Twenth Year of our Independence, and in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty two. Indenture made 14 Sep 1786 between Samuel Herring and Micajah Casey both of Wayne, for 22 pounds land in Wayne on the southside of Neuse River and eastside of Sleepy Creek, William Jones line containing 22 acres being part of a patent granted to William Jones under the seal of his Excellency Richard Caswell esquire bearing date 30 Sep 1785, adjacent to said Caseys land.
