State of North Carolina, Wayne County - 12th January A.D. 1782
To all to whom these Presents shall come greeting &c I Jonathan Taylor of the sd. State & County for & in onsideration of the sum of Fifty Pounds current Money of said State have Bargained Sold enferred conveyed confirmed and set over unto Joseph Everitt of the State & County aforesaid Thirty five acres of Land Situate lying and being in the County aforesaid on the South side Neus river being part of a certain tract or parcell of Land pattented by the said Everitt bearing date 30th Janr'y 1773 and is bounded as follows (to wit) Begining at a marked pine tree the second corner of Micajah Caseys land the corner Tree of his own Land thence up the folly line to the ready branch thence up the meanders of the ready Branch to a black jack at the turn of the branch from thence to the first Station Containing Thirty five acres.
