Newman Dunn

Newman Dunn was the son of Walter Dunn Sr. and wife Sarah Patrick. Newman was in the 1810 and 1820 Pitt County, NC Census. He was in the Pitt County Regiment in the War of 1812. He died sometime before February 1823 leaving wife Caroline Hazelton Dunn and young son Walter Dunn.

It appears Walter Dunn Sr (b. 1751-Craven) of Lenoir County had land in Greene, Lenoir and Pitt counties.
