Jesse - served in the militia

John - d. 22 Mar 1839, m. Hannah Parmilia, February 1777; enlisted while residing in Laurens District under Ridgley and Capt. John Norwood; served thirteen and one-half months as forage master to the Contintental Army during 1779 and 1780 (moved to Georgia)

John - taken prisoner by Tarleton

Jonathan - enlisted on 7 Jul 1775 in an independent company of rangers under Capt Ezekiel Polk and Col Thomson

Robert - served in an independent company of rangers under Capt Robert Ellison during 1775 and enlisted in the Second Regiment on 20 May 1776

Roger - served in the militia under Col Brandon after the fall of Charleston

Thomas - served as second lieutenant of the First Company of the Prince Frederick's Parish Volunteers under Capt Benjamin Screven during 1775; at a later date, was a captain under Gen Marion; at sometime, he was a captain in the Fifth Regiment

William - b. 7/11 June 1757/59, Lancaster County, Pa; first served under Capt James Hall, a Presbyterian minister in a North Carolina unit; thereafter, was under Gen Rutherford; in spring of 1781 was enlisted under Capt John Reid, Maj Rutherford, Col Wade Hampton and Gen Sumter; was at the taking of Thompson's Fort and in several skirmishes; was also under Gen Marion and Maj Moore (moved to Georgia)

William - was drafted while residing in Union District to serve under Capt Richard Burgess and Cols Farr and Roebuck; after fall of Charleston, was under Capt James Woodson and Col Brandon; was also under Capt John Martindale (moved to Tennessee)
